Data protection and security, as defined in article 13 of our T&Cs, is very important at Dataleon.
The privacy policy below, as part of our terms of use, is intended to regulate the collection, appropriate use, and access to data in connection with the subscription to the Dataleon website and platform.

The privacy policy must be accepted by all users who visit the website or subscribe to the Dataleon service, and for each change to our privacy policy.
In case of non-acceptance of the privacy policy, the user must refuse access to all services available on the website and, if applicable, to Dataleon services.

Some data is provided directly by you when you subscribe to or use the Dataleon service, and other data is collected automatically through the technologies used by Dataleon, including during the interaction between you and the website.

Data may be collected and processed by Dataleon and its subcontractors for the purposes of:
Provide the Dataleon service, optimize its use and offer appropriate support;
Invoice according to the contract;
Communicate all product and service updates;
Give you the ability to personalize the Dataleon service and allow you to select the content that you want to access and that you want to share with a third party;
Analyze your data that will allow us to improve the Young App service, identify any trends, and determine the effectiveness of the Dataleon service;
Prevent and detect potential threats to the security of our products or services, fraud, or other illegal activity;
Comply with contractual and legal obligations, resolve conflict situations, and enforce our contracts;
Allow email delivery and e-marketing campaigns and promotions, keep our customers informed of upcoming updates and events;
Maintain a history of all operations carried out during the contractual relationship.

The above treatment is based on:
The customer's agreement concerning the use of cookies for certain purposes and the use of data for commercial sourcing purposes;
The customer's agreement when the customer has not subscribed to the Dataleon service to Dataleon itself.
Execution of the Dataleon user contract signed with the former customer.
When data processing is based on the customer's agreement, the customer has the right to withdraw their consent at any time.
An unsubscribe link will be sent to the user by Dataleon in marketing newsletters and emails.
Users can permanently delete their accounts, as mentioned in the Terms of Use (see article 8).

The User is informed and accepts that the recipients of the data (excluding subcontractors in article 8) are the following:
Dataleon services, affiliated companies or subsidiaries using data: sales department, marketing department, accounting department.
User data that is collected:

Authorized third parties subject to the IT law and contractual freedom as well as the regulation, undertake to work on data processing in accordance with these Terms of Use.
Data will only be communicated to Dataleon to offer and improve its services. It will not be disclosed to third parties for the use of the data in their marketing activity.
Please note that content created through the Dataleon service (processes, feedback, survey, etc.) can be uploaded by the administrator.

Dataleon works with subcontractors.
Dataleon will ensure that one or all of the subcontractors employed provide the required guarantees in order to maintain the implementation of all appropriate techniques and organization, so that the processing meets all legal requirements.

The User has been informed that the data may be shared with third parties located who use servers outside the European Union, in countries where data protection laws may be different from the laws of the European Union.
In this specific case, Dataleon will ensure that the User has been properly advised and that the transfer is carried out in accordance with the new applicable legislation and guarantees sufficient protection for a web application of the privacy and fundamental rights of individuals in accordance with the policy (in particular with the contractual clauses of the European Commission).

In accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act, the automated processing of personal data carried out from the site has been declared to the CNIL under the number 1989871 v 0.

In accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, the User has the right to access, rectify, delete data, limit or oppose their processing, the right to define guidelines for the conservation, deletion and communication of data, after death and the right to data portability.
Right of access: Users can receive a copy of their data in their possession.
Right to rectify or delete: users can request to delete and correct their incorrect or obsolete data. However, Young App may retain certain user data when required to do so by law or when there is a legal reason to do so.
Right to object: Users have the right to refuse to have their data used for certain purposes.
Right of limitation: Users have the right to obtain from the data controller the limitation of the treatment in certain cases, for example when the degree of certainty is contested by the User.
Right to portability: users can receive the data concerning them that they have provided to the data controller in a structured, currently used and machine-readable format, and transmit this data to another data controller.

Users have the right to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (CNIL) or to obtain compensation from the competent courts if the users believe that we have not respected their rights.

To ensure data security, Dataleon relies on the following measures:

Dataleon will inform the CNIL and/or the person concerned of the potential data breach mentioned in the regulation.
The data storage period by Dataleon is limited to the duration of use of the Dataleon service by the user, subject to compliance with legal and applicable provisions. However, the necessary data may be stored for commercial prospecting and/or storage purposes for a maximum of 3 years from the end of use of the Dataleon service.
The navigation data collected from a single visit to the site by the user will be stored for a maximum of 50 months.
